Refund Policy

Unlocks are digital and delivered instantly. Here is exactly when we refund, when we don't, and how to ask.

Effective August 6, 2026

1. Digital content is delivered instantly

When you unlock a Truth or a Dare, the answer and any attached media are revealed immediately and saved to your “My unlocks” page. Because delivery is instant and irreversible, unlocks are final and non-refundable once revealed, except in the cases listed below.

2. When we do refund

  • Technical failure: you were charged but the answer never unlocked, or the attached media is missing or unplayable.
  • Duplicate charge: you were billed more than once for the same unlock.
  • Unauthorised payment: your payment method was used without your permission.
  • Policy violation: the delivered answer breaches the Prohibited Content & Conduct Policy, or is empty, unrelated, or clearly not a genuine response to the listing.
  • Declined custom request: if a creator declines your request or does not respond within 7 days, the charge is released or refunded in full.

3. When we do not refund

  • You unlocked the content and simply did not enjoy the answer, or already knew it.
  • You unlocked the wrong item by mistake after the answer was revealed.
  • You object to the price. Creators set their own prices, which are shown before payment.
  • Requests made after 30 days from the transaction date.

4. How to request a refund

  • Email support@tudare.com from the email on your account within 30 days of the charge.
  • Include the creator handle, the item you unlocked, the date, and what went wrong.
  • We review requests within 5 business days and reply by email with the decision.
  • Approved refunds are returned to the original payment method and typically appear within 5–10 business days, depending on your bank.

5. Effect on creators

  • If a refund is approved before payout, the amount, commission, and processing fee are reversed from the creator's pending balance.
  • If it is approved after payout, the amount is deducted from the creator's next monthly payout.
  • Repeated policy-violation refunds against a creator may lead to suspension and forfeiture of pending earnings.

6. Chargebacks

Please contact us before opening a chargeback with your bank — most issues are resolved faster by email. Chargebacks filed in bad faith after content has been delivered may result in your account being closed and future purchases being blocked.

7. Taxes and fees

Refunds include any sales tax collected on the transaction. The $0.35 processing fee and the 10% platform commission are reversed with the refund and are not retained by the platform on refunded transactions.
