Privacy Policy

How we collect, use, and protect your data as a creator or a viewer on Truth or Dare.

Effective August 6, 2026

1. What we collect

  • Account data: email address and authentication identifiers (including Google sign-in, if you use it).
  • Profile data you choose to publish: display name, handle, bio, city/state/country, gender, birth date, avatar, gallery media, and social links.
  • Content data: your Truth and Dare listings, prices, answers, and any photo or video attached to an answer.
  • Transaction data: purchases, amounts, tax, fees, net earnings, ratings, referrals, and payout details you enter.
  • Identity verification data: verification status and a session reference from our verification provider. We do not store your identity documents.
  • Technical data: IP address, device and browser information, and basic usage logs needed to run and secure the service.

2. How we use it

  • To run the marketplace: show profiles, deliver unlocked answers, and process requests.
  • To calculate earnings, commissions, referral shares, and monthly payouts.
  • To verify age and identity, prevent fraud, and enforce the content policy.
  • To respond to support requests and send transactional notices about your account, purchases, and payouts.
  • To comply with legal, tax, and law-enforcement obligations.

3. What is public

Your profile, published listings, prices, ratings, gallery media, and any answer you price at $0 are visible to anyone on the internet. Paid answers are visible only to buyers who unlocked them and to you. Your email address, birth date, bank details, and verification data are never shown publicly.

4. Who we share it with

  • Payment and identity providers, to process payments, payouts, and age/identity verification.
  • Hosting, database, and storage providers that operate our infrastructure.
  • Law enforcement or regulators where legally required, and to report content involving minors as required by law.
  • We do not sell your personal data and do not share it with advertisers.

5. Cookies and local storage

We use cookies and browser storage for sign-in sessions, security, and to remember a referral code when you arrive from a creator's referral link. We do not use third-party advertising trackers.

6. Retention

  • Account, profile, and content data is kept while your account is open.
  • Transaction and payout records are kept for as long as tax and accounting law requires, typically seven years, even after account closure.
  • Moderation and enforcement records may be kept to prevent ban evasion.

7. Your rights

  • Access, correct, or export the personal data we hold about you.
  • Delete your account and published content; some records must be retained as described above.
  • Object to or restrict certain processing, and withdraw consent where processing is based on consent.
  • If you are in the EU/UK, you may complain to your local data protection authority. If you are in California, you may exercise CCPA rights, including the right to know and delete; we do not sell personal information.
  • To exercise any of these, email support@tudare.com from your account email.

8. Security and children

  • Data is encrypted in transit, access to paid answers and media is enforced server-side, and payout details are restricted to the account owner.
  • No system is perfectly secure; use a strong, unique password and keep your sign-in credentials private.
  • The service is strictly for adults 18 and over. We do not knowingly collect data from minors and will delete any such account immediately.

9. Changes and contact

We may update this policy; material changes will be posted on this page with a new effective date. Privacy questions and data requests: support@tudare.com.
